If you know anything about me, you know that I am a lover of all things IKEA. When I lived in New Jersey I used to visit the Elizabeth store at least 2 or 3 times a week. I love walking through the store and seeing all the decorating possibilities. I don’t visit the Cincinnati store as much as I did the Elizabeth one, but my love for all things IKEA hasn’t change. I stumbled across a Ikeahacker ‘s blog and another door of possibilities was opened to me. Here are a few of my faves.

I found ChicLittleHouse by visiting another blog, and I instantly fell in love. This blog tells the story of the journey of a family to turn a 1956 Rancher into a Chic Little House they can call home. I have found so many decorating ideas from visiting Mrs. CLH’s blog. She has transformed a vintage chair and bench from trash to treasure. Here is the before of the vintage chair.

Add a little paint and some new fabric and it’s ready to be showcased in her bedroom…
She turned a Crate and Barrel placemat into a throw pillow. I NEVER would have thought to do this, but you can believe that I plan to try it.
